50th Southeastern Wildlife Conclave

Join more than 400 students, wildlife professionals, and conservation leaders from across the Southeast for three days of competition, networking, professional development, and outdoor adventure as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Southeastern Wildlife Conclave.

Cookeville, Tennessee

Located in the heart of Tennessee's Upper Cumberland region, Cookeville offers outstanding opportunities for outdoor recreation, wildlife conservation, and natural resource management. Tennessee Technological University's nationally recognized Wildlife and Fisheries Science program is situated within this diverse landscape, providing students direct access to hands-on learning, research, and conservation experiences.

Nationally Recognized Biodiversity

Cookeville is conveniently located within an hour of 7 Tennessee State Parks and 6 TWRA Wildlife Management Areas. Each of which offer wonderful outdoor recreation and internship opportunities for students.

Tennessee is home to many biologically diverse waterways such as The Duck River and The Obed National Wild & Scenic River. The diverse flora and fauna of these rivers are what make them so unique to Tennessee.
